SEAFOOD & BAH KUT TEH!

last saturday, Yixian, Huiyee, Tim & myself decided to go a lil more budget, so we decided on some coffeeshop style seafood sze char along katong area.. SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE!

we got there abt 745, waiting till 9 for our food! its like only a few dishes, it wasnt exactly that crowded afterall. so i dunno wads the wait for actually.. we asked a few times and they kept saying "its coming" for at least 8 times? damn annoying.. well, Huiyee asked me not to show my unhappiness as u do not knw wad they will add into ur food. i kept my cool.. but it really didnt satisfy us..

thats them STILL smiling before the long wait ;p

after the very frustrating wait and unsatisfying dinner, instead of ordering more food frm them that will cost us more wait.. we decided to go down joo chiat to other food..

stopped by Bah Kut Teh! and went for it..
yummmmyyyyyyy service was pleasing..food is hot & it came mins aft our order..
it made the night better :D ok.. i knw *patience! gekteng*







the idea of meeting that night was to spend time with eunice as she had to leave for Vietnam till next Jan~ too bad she cldn't meet us for dinner, so she went straight to Huiyee's place for the stayover :D

very dense rose flavour, e best part is that its not too sweet!
goes perfect with alot of iceeee..


and busy woman, Amy, made plans to join us that night too :D
so it was definitely a very very enjoyable night with them.. its really rare all of us get to bunk in for the night.. :) we chatted till Mr Sun took over his duty frm Miss Moon.

NIGHT CYCLING WITH GLENN & DEER

man. it was such an experience on friday.
i got premission frm bosses to leave work at 4pm to collect my White Beauty..
and den glenn and deer came down to my area after work for the plans we had planned sometime back!



friday night was younggggg...
drove down to marina square for dinner den movie - NO RESERVATIONS
(oh btw, the last movie i watch was I Not Stupid Too... hahaaaaaaa)



dennn.. the night truly began when we drove down to glenn's place at thomson.
we went night cycling.



we were honoured enough to ride on glenn's 800bucks bike.. haha!
really different frm usual bike man.. smooth!



seriously, my idea of night cycling was totally different frm the guys. i thought its some parks or wad.. buttttttttttttttttttt..... we cycled by the road side!



DAMN im sure both of them cld feel how tensed up i was. maybe only yang heng felt that i got a lil scared when the traffic got heavy.. it really didnt help to ease me when i saw this "Fatal Accident" sign. den, i decided to carry the bike up to the pathway..



the horror came when we reach this section that leads to the highway.. the cars were damn fast and we had to cross to the opposite side of the road..glenn gave me the que to run over first while he push my bike over for me.. *phewwww...*



trust me, its the scariest thing ive done.
it felt as if i lost my soul and got it back.
thinking back.. it was kinda thrilling.. but too dangerous man!!



nevertheless, its a true experience..
the guys were proud of me cos we cycled 25km.. Thomson to Yishun den to Khatib.. Yio Chu Kang, Ang Mo Kio..



back at thomson, we had some drinks and cool down before we drove for supper/breakfast..

we den slack and munch aft the bucket of sweat..


this hong kong cafe down glenn's area.. damn gd! i think so far its the best ive eaten.









the guys said i did a great job and rewarded me with a wanton.
hahahah!



at abt 4am.. yang heng took the wheels and drove me back home den he took a cab home frm there..



what a night! thrilling enough.
thanks guys.. for taking gd care of me. making sure im always the one cycling btw u both.. :D
and of course enouraged me to go on and on.. i still cant believed we cycled that far. haha!

we can do this again! but pathway pleaseeee.. not on the roads!!! ;p

LEMONGRASS DINNER WITH FAMILY

yesterdayyy.........................
lemongrass's standard have dropped quite abit..


at midnight, i went to pick amy and huiyee at esplanade..
we went down to geylang for dim sum and durians!!



eh good show there man, we saw this 2 Chicks.. they were like making a scene with this ah pek. we guess the situation was that the ah pek took their service and he didnt pay up.. damn drama mama! hahaa *kaypo!*



den we got cheated when we went for durians.
DAMN. we paid $62 for THIS DURIAN!!!!!!

the uncle "cheated" us man!
he told amy and huiyee that we can try it..
but after opening he said that we had to buy it.. cannot don't want.



the best part was that, we packed home for Huiyee's mom who is a hardcore durian lover.. she said that she can easily get this quality at 20bucks.



hah. hah. hah. hah. ok well, once bitten twice shy!
